Sambhav has collaborated with the CBR Network, Bangalore University and Rehabilitation Council of India to start up a school of Community Based Rehabilitation offering distance learning CBR diploma and PG Diploma courses.

The school envisages at preparing special educators who contribute significantly to the socio-economic upliftment of the physically and mental challenged.  Apart from just being educators the school also focuses on preparing people who can play a role in joining the disabled with mainstream of society and education.

As for now we are offering the following courses at the school, expected to stretch into other streams of developmental education.

Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR)

Eligibility: Intermediate (10+2)          Duration: 1 Year

Course Contents:

·         Principles and methods of CBR Approach and Management of CBR Programme.

·         Identification and rehabilitation of persons with mental illness, epilepsy and other disabilities.

·         Identification and rehabilitation of persons with visual impairment.

·         Identification and rehabilitation of persons with hearing impairment.

·         Identification and rehabilitation of persons with mental impairment.

·         Identification and rehabilitation of persons with locomotor impairment.

 

Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR)

Eligibility: Graduation              Duration: 1 Year
