The main objectives of the program is to create and
increase awareness among the community about the
preventive, promotive and curative aspects of AYUSH
systems, its cost effectiveness, availability of herbs
used for prevention and treatment of common ailments and
the technique for growing such herbs and other medicinal
plants. The program is intended to create an interest
particularly in looking after basic primary health care
needs through the ISM&H approach.
Sambhav as a MNGO is undertaking the ISM&H program
supported by the Department of AYUSH (Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare). The program through FNGOs is being
implemented in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
Objectives

increase the popularity of Indian medicine and
homeopathy in the communities.

abide by the code of conduct prescribed for the
practitioners by the government of India

organize activities for propagation of medicinal plants
among the farmers.
