Integrated
Education for Visually Impaired Children: Supported by
National Association for the Blind and Sense International
This is a program supported by the Perkins Institute for the
Blind, United Kingdom. The main focus of this program is to
join eligible VI children with the mainstream of formal
education and also to work with VI children who need
training on Daily living skills, orientation, mobility and
basic education.
The project is being implemented in Tikamgarh district with
2 special teachers looking after 12 children. Also same is
being done in Gwalior with one teacher for 4 children.
